My subordinate soldier is facing punishment (Article 15) for improper relations with another leader. Max punishments for offense is reduction in rank, 45 days extra duty, and forfeiture of half month’s pay for 2 months. I need help drafting a letter to the commander to consider lesser punishment for my soldier. Reasons for lesser punishment include:
