 This week we have gone over Bloodborne Pathogens in the workplace, while the textbook focuses on HIVAIDS and AnyAll Hepatitis, there are other Bloodborne Pathogens that can affect workers especially in the health care industry. For this assignment, you are to identify another (NOT HIVAIDS or AnyAll Hepatitis) Bloodborne Pathogen, that someone in your career field could be exposed to. Describe the prognosis of the Bloodborne Pathogen. Once this is completed identify what precautions should be taken to avoid infection. Lastly, what PPE should/could be worn to prevent infection.
